December 2015 - #Write4Rights

 

In December 2015, the Amnesty International Australia, NSW Legal Network held an event where individuals attended to express their concerns about human rights violations across the world. At this relatively local, community event, the legal network managed to receive an astonishing 300 actions. Members of the public wrote letters to governments all over the globe to defend the rights of human beings, uniting in the name of justice.

 

The legal network compiled research documents outlining the socio-economic, political and legal environments of the countries in question. We are very thankful to all those who attended the event and the campaign was one of great importance to the NSW Legal Network and Amnesty International as a whole.
