International Women's Day

March 07, 2016

"What are the biggest issues facing women today?"

So come along and join the conversation!

Write for Rights

December 08, 2015

At the heart of Amnesty International is this idea: that we are at our most powerful when we stand together for human rights. Letter writing is at our core, and has been ever since our first letter-writing campaign in 1961. Write for Rights is Amnesty International’s global letter-writing moment, when the world joins together to help people experiencing human rights abuses.

In the true spirit of Amnesty, we will demand justice and inspire action!

Gender Agenda

Join us for a night of exploration into the daily battles that transgender and intersex people face as part of the NSW Legal Network's campaign on LGBTIQQA rights and as recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT).

We will be joined by a panel who will discuss issues such as migration and the creation of an 'X' gender, issues in seeking asylum, medical barriers and legislative changes that need to be made to properly address the rights of Transgender and Intersex persons.
