Trudeau wants Men to call Themselves a Feminist until it is met with a Shrug

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Justin Trudeau has encouraged men and women to embrace feminism. As Canada's new prime minister, Trudeau appointed evenly 15 women and 15 men to his cabinet. This is the first cabinet in Canadian history to have equal numbers of both men and women.

“We shouldn’t be afraid to use the word feminist. Men and women should use it to describe themselves whenever they want.”

Justin Trudeau has said he is incredibly proud to have a partner in his wife, Sophie, who advocates for gender equality. He stated he and his wife are both very thoughtful about how they raise their daughter. Trudeau believes men should play a role in demanding equality and a shift in this gender paradigm.
